Scott is the Director of Instruction at The Legacy Golf Performance Center in Phoenix. A graduate of the PGA Academy of Australia in 2007 with distinction, Scott has been with the Legacy Golf Resort since 2010 and was one of the original coaches for the Legacy Golf Performance Center’s Grand Opening in March 2013. He has worked his way through the ranks from Staff Instructor to Director of Instruction.
A native of Sydney, Australia, Scott began playing golf at the age of 8 in the company of his grandfather, Ray, and quickly rose up the junior ranks in his home country. At 18 he became the youngest ever Club Champion of Ashlar Golf Club in Sydney, and at 21 was runner-up for Rookie of the Year honors at the PGA Academy. Scott played at the professional level on the Australian and Asian Tour for seven years, then in 2008 took his game to the United States to compete on The Gateway Tour in Arizona, which led him to the Legacy Golf Resort.
Scott has had the privilege of learning from and working with some of the best instructors in the world, including Gary Barter (Australian Coach of the Year 2001), Paul Hausman (Australian PGA Academy Coach of the Year 2006), Gregg McHatton (two-time Southern California Metro Chapter PGA Teacher of the Year) and current mentor Patrick McGuire. His teaching philosophy is based on maximizing each student’s potential through individual player development.
A AAA Member of the PGA of Australia, Scott is certified in K-Vest Level 2, SAM PuttLab Level 1 and TrackMan. He recently teamed with fellow Australian coach Craig Hocknull to form The Outback Elite Junior Team and is also part of The Raspberry Golf Academy’s Path to the Tour Program (formed in 2014), which trains struggling mini-tour players and helps develop them into players on the Worldwide Tours.

Craig is a Senior Staff Instructor with The Legacy Golf Performance Center in Phoenix, AZ, and owner of Craig Renshaw Golf. A two-time nominee for New England Section PGA Teacher of the Year and Southwest Section PGA Teacher of the Year, Craig has been teaching professionally for more than 25 years, giving upwards of 1,000 lessons per year.
Prior to joining The Legacy Golf Performance Center, Craig was Director of Instruction at Lake Winnipesaukee Golf Club in New Hampshire. He was also Director of Instruction for Paradise Valley Country Club in Paradise Valley, Ariz., and a Senior Master Instructor for Resort Golf Schools. Craig has taught alongside several Golf Magazine Top 100 Teachers, including Charlie King, Dr. Gary Wiren, Michael Hebron, and Scott Sackett, and watched and learned from several others, most notably Butch Harmon, Hank Haney, Jim McLean, and Dave Pelz.
Craig’s teaching philosophy is based on solid fundamentals with a heavy emphasis on fitness and biomechanics. In addition to being a C.H.E.K. Institute Certified Golf Biomechanical Specialist, Craig is certified as a Titliest Performance Institute (TPI) Level I Instructor and AimPoint Putting Technology Instructor. He is a certified club fitter for Titleist, Cobra, Ping, Tour Edge, Zevo, and Coutour Putting, and has partnered with the Nexus Golf Academy. Located at the Legacy Golf Performance Center, the Nexus Golf Academy is a full-time Junior and Professional Developmental Program that paves the path from a beginner-level golfer all the way to the professional level. Nexus’ founder, Joseph DiChiara, coaches juniors and professionals of all levels and has developed this program to allow players to realize their greatest potential.
